Wild About Health at the OKC Zoo
This Fall, the Oklahoma City Zoo is excited to present a trio of early morning fitness classes designed to spark a new fitness hobby while surrounded by nature! Guests are invited to try one or all three of our different fitness classes each led by Fit4Moms, Barre3, and a family-focused private yoga instructor. Class prices include instruction and admission into the Zoo!
All classes will take place in the Devon Picnic Ground and will be moved inside for any inclement weather.
Beginners are welcome in all of these classes!
Barre3 Saturday, November 5, 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Barre3 is a 45-minute full-body balanced workout combining strength conditioning, cardio, and mindfulness that will leave you feeling balanced in body and empowered from within. A trained guide will direct and inspire participants through a circuit of diverse set of exercises developed to target specific areas of the body. All levels are welcome-we embrace you where you are and offer modifications to customize your class experience. The surprise animal encounter starts at 10:15 a.m.!
Age requirement: Participants must be 18 and older
Restrictions: This class utilized the strength of upper and lower body strength, particularly the core. Guests must complete a liability waiver prior to participation.
Class Size: Class is limited to 30 guests
Equipment required: All equipment is provided. This class is outdoors so dress accordingly. Guests are encouraged to bring a hand towel and water bottle.
Price: $30.00 per person ($18.00 for members). Includes price of Zoo admission
