Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almond milk 
  • 1 frozen banana
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon fresh ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon local honey
  • Dash of ground black pepper 
  • 1-2 handfuls of ice (if using fresh banana) 

Instructions:

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste and adjust the sweetness if needed.
  4. Serve and enjoy! 

Tips for customization:

  • For a thicker smoothie: Add more frozen banana or a bit of yogurt.
  • For a thinner smoothie: Add more milk.
  • Boost the nutrition: Add a handful of spinach or a tablespoon of your favorite nut butter.
  • Make it a Golden Milk version: Consider adding more ginger, and a pinch of black pepper to enhance the turmeric’s benefits.
