Nothing tastes better than a frozen treat on a hot summer day. The best part about homemade popsicle recipes is that they are quick and and easy for the whole family to make together, have a long shelf life, and are the perfect healthy, sweet treat!

A few homemade fruit popsicle ideas:

Triple Berry – A classic berry popsicle that anyone will love! Blend strawberries, raspberries, blueberries or blackberries to make this fun frozen treat.

Rocket Pops – With the Fourth of July being right around the corner, this red, white, and blue popsicle is perfect for the holiday weekend. Layer blueberry purée, coconut milk or yogurt of choice, and strawberry purée to make these festive pops.

*To make homemade popsicles, you will need the ingredients to make the popsicles, a blender, popsicle molds, and a freezer.

Ingredients for Triple Berry Popsicles:

  • Berries of your choice: We recommend strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, or cherries.
  • For added sweetness, add a few tbsp of honey, maple syrup or sugar.
  • Add coconut milk or greek yogurt for creaminess.

Instructions:

  • *If using sugar, add sugar and 1/3 cup water in a small saucepan and bring to boil over high heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Set aside.
  • Blend berries, coconut milk/greek yogurt and sweetener of choice in a blender and purée until smooth.
  • Transfer purée to popsicle molds and freeze for 4 hours.

Ingredients for Rocket Pops:

  • Blueberries
  • Coconut milk or yogurt of choice
  • Strawberries (or any red berry)
  • Sweetener of choice: sugar, honey, or maple syrup

Instructions:

  • *If using sugar, add sugar and 1/3 cup water in a small saucepan and bring to boil over high heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Set aside.
  • Begin with blending each layer and adding to popsicle molds to freeze.
  • Blend blueberries to make blueberry purée. Add to the molds to freeze and set the mixture.
  • Blend coconut milk or yogurt with sweetener of choice until smooth. Add to the molds to freeze and set the mixture.
  • Blend strawberries until a purée forms. Add to the molds to freeze and set the mixture.
  • Once all layers are added to the molds, freeze for a few hours to fully form the popsicles.
